OUR BRAND
CORDOFONES PRIMOR
In the Portuguese language dictionary, "primor" means "Very delicate work or work done with great perfection. = Masterpiece, Perfection."
Chordophones are string instruments. In the case of “Cordofones Primor,” traditional Madeiran string instruments: the braguinha, the rajão, and the viola d’arame. In the logo, the fact that we are dealing with three instruments is represented by the presence of three distinct elements.
The aim is to represent the delicacy of work in the materials involved, necessary to ensure appropriate aesthetics and pleasant sound.
The “C” and the “P” have an obvious meaning, as they represent the initials of the brand name. The circle surrounding them is intended to represent the necessary unity among all elements, the desire for the brand’s longevity - since a circle has no beginning or end - the perfection of forms, and national identity through the armillary sphere present on the Portuguese flag.
